Spytec GPS

Resource Center

With a number of use cases for our software and a broad ICP of small, location-based businesses, our B2B SaaS company needed content that could speak to a range of pain points and needs. This content hub housed blog posts, videos, case studies, and gated lead generation content to educate and engage small business owners and managers across our target industries. You can visit the Spytec GPS Resource Center here.

How It Works, Software, and Hardware Pages

Spytec GPS was an established business transitioning from an e-commerce model selling GPS tracking devices with an app to a SaaS company emphasizing its tracking software as a unique differentiator among GPS solutions providers. On top of that, the company was pivoting from a consumer focus to providing B2B solutions for small location-based businesses. These fundamental shifts required precise communications to reposition the brand and clearly articulate what the business offers, how the solutions work, the value of our solutions for our ICP, and more.

Our team redesigned the website to position the software—rather than the tracking devices—as the solution for our ICP’s needs. This entailed overhauling the navigation and website architecture, adding, scrapping, and reconceptualizing pages to connect with our target audiences, fully articulate our offerings, and evolve the business beyond its old model to compete with other companies offering B2B GPS solutions.

You can view the How It Works, Software, and Hardware pages on Spytec’s site or enjoy an overview scroll through these pages in the video below.

Business Solutions Pillar Page

GPS is an effective solution to many problems for location-based businesses—but that’s not obvious to small business owners and managers unless they’ve engaged with helpful content that connects their pain points to these solutions. My team created this pillar page that gives an overview of our business solutions and most popular use cases, linking to separate pages for each use case. This SEO-friendly page helps inform potential customers what GPS can do for their business, even if they don’t yet have enough information to click straight into the right use case for their needs.

Watch the video below to see a scroll though the page, or visit the business solutions pillar page and use case pages on Spytec’s website: asset monitoring; fleet management; supply chain visibility; personnel monitoring.

FOX Architects

As content marketing manager, I maintained and updated the firm’s website, creating and uploading original content and strategizing improvements for user experience. I implemented SEO tactics to increase website traffic through search and optimized web content for sharing across platforms. With no budget for paid search strategies, I organically increased website traffic by 62%.

FOX Architects: Insights Blog

As content marketing manager at FOX Architects, I led content strategy, creation, execution, and distribution on the firm’s Insights blog. Working with experts across the firm, I developed ideas, asked questions that generated engaging answers, wrote, edited, photographed, published, and pushed out thought leadership that elevated staff members, the firm, and our work. I also managed staff members’ content contributions, managing the project, selecting the topic and focus, coaching through the writing process, editing, and publishing. The video below shows an overview of the Insights blog page. You can read some of these blog posts and thought leadership here.

FOX Architects: Careers and Culture Pages

I wanted to improve the user experience and introduction to the brand for prospective employees so that learning about the firm’s job openings, benefits, and culture, was a more streamlined experience. I worked with our website developer and HR director to create a new layout that would guide users through a content hub for informational pages and blog posts related to our culture and work. With a limited budget and a website that was designed before my time at the firm, this low-cost solution solved the problem by putting crucial content in the hand of prospective employees who entered the site from the careers listing page. As a result, linking to this page on external platforms such as social media resulted in more applications and inquiries, and improved the candidate pool for staff positions and internships.

FOX Architects Landing Page: COVID-19 Resources

As the person who created all the firm’s messaging, the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic created a crisis communications situation I needed to address. People throughout the industry turned to the firm for reassurance and advice. Real estate brokers wanted to know what to tell their tenant clients about health and safety in the workplace; landlords and property managers wanted to know the changes they should make for a safe return to office buildings; organizations wanted to know how to augment their existing spaces to comply with newly-emerging safety protocols; and developers wanted to know what the sudden abandonment of office buildings might mean for the future of the office market.

I created this COVID-19 resources landing page as a hub for the firm’s thought leadership on this urgent topic. On this page, I curated all the firm’s COVID-related content from our own platforms and from external platforms: blog posts, webinars, podcast episodes, articles, interviews, and more. Staff members throughout the firm shared this page with clients and contacts as the authoritative source for the firm’s view on the evolving crisis and the outlook for the industry.

FOX Architects Landing Page: Community Connection

I played a critical role in launching Community Connection: the firm’s new corporate social responsibility (CSR) program. I executed all of the internal and external communications, including this landing page. This page served as an internal resource hub for staff to learn about the program, complete the enrollment procedures, discover upcoming service opportunities, and sign up to help. You can view the page here.

Eone: Shop and Product Pages

As an inclusive design company that prides itself on being accessible for all people, sighted or blind, it was important to describe these unique products for people who cannot see them. I crafted each product description so that customers are equipped with detailed, accurate information that anticipates their customer journey, regardless of sight.
